Neri Pozza
Born in Venice in 1946 and now based between Milan and Vicenza, Neri Pozza takes the name from its founder. Throughout its illustrious history as an independent publisher, it has published major writers of late 20th-century Italian literature, including Eugenio Montale, Carlo Emilio Gadda, Dino Buzzati, Goffredo Parise, and, more recently, Giuseppe Berto, as well as renowned international authors (among others, Romain Gary, Hermann Koch, Barbara Kingsolver, Tracy Chevalier, David Gregory Roberts, and David Nicholls). Faithful to its tradition of high literary quality, Neri Pozza publishes Italian and foreign fiction, historical and current non-fiction in the series “Il Tempo Storico”, and philosophical essays in “La Quarta Prosa”.
