Mirko Zilahy

Mirko Zilahy was born in 1974 in Rome. He made his debut with the bestseller È così che si uccide (Longanesi, 2016), followed by La forma del buio and Così crudele è la fine, which complete the Trilogia degli spettri (optioned for television and translated in many countries). His latest book is Nostra signora delle nuvole (HarperCollins Italy, 2023). He is an editor and translator. In addition to The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt, he has translated authors such as Bram Stoker, Roger Boylan, Peter Murphy, T. R. Richmond, John Boyne, John McGahern, Michael Dahlie and Dennis Lehane. He writes for “la Lettura” by “Corriere della Sera”. He has taught Italian Language and Literature at Trinity College, Dublin, and he is an English Literature fellow at the Università per Stranieri di Perugia.
