Mattia Insolia was born in Catania in 1995, now he lives in Milan. His short stories have been published in anthologies. He writes for culture magazines including “7”, “Domani” and “L’Espresso”. He wrote two novels: the first one, Gli affamati, was published in 2020 by Ponte alle Grazie and the second one, Cieli in fiamme, was published by Mondadori in 2023 (winner of the Premio Comisso under 35). Both books are translated in German.
