Mattia Insolia was born in Catania in 1995. He graduated in Literature from La Sapienza University in Rome with a thesis on the "Young Cannibals" literary movement. His short stories have been published in anthologies. He writes for culture magazines including "7 Corriere".
His first novel, Gli affamati, was published in 2020 by Ponte alle Grazie and translated into German.
