Mattia Insolia was born in Catania in 1995, now he lives in Milan. His short stories have been published in anthologies. He writes for culture magazines including “7”, “Domani” and “L’Espresso”. He wrote the books Gli affamati, published in 2020 by Ponte alle Grazie, and Cieli in fiamme, published by Mondadori in 2023 and winner of the Premio Comisso under 35 (both books are translated into German). His latest novel is La vita giovane (Mondadori, 2026).
