Ilaria Tuti

Ilaria Tuti lives in Gemona del Friuli (Udine). Her debut novel, Fiori sopra l'inferno (Longanesi, 2018), became a publishing sensation in Italy and abroad and was selected as a Crime Book of the Month by "The Times" in March 2019. In her second novel, Ninfa Dormiente (Longanesi, 2019), thanks to which she was the first Italian writer finalist for the Edgar Allan Poe Awards, her protagonist Teresa Battaglia returns. She published Fiore di roccia (2020), winner of the Donna Scrittrice Rapallo Carige Prize,  Cortina d'Ampezzo Mountain Prize and the Unesco Dolomites Special Prize, and Luce della notte (2021), both for Longanesi. Her most recent novel is Madre d'ossa (Longanesi, 2023).
