Giulio D’Antona
Giulio D’Antona was born in Milan in 1984. He has worked as a New York correspondent for several Italian publications, writing about American culture. He writes stories for “Topolino”. He has translated Ta-Nehisi Coates, Kurt Vonnegut, and Fran Lebowitz. He founded Aguilar Entertainment, a production company focused on stand-up comedy, with which he produced the first three Italian Netflix comedy specials in 2018. He is the author of the collections Stand-up comedy (Einaudi Stile Libero, 2019) and Milano. Storia comica di una città tragica (Bompiani, 2020) and the co-author of the illustrated book Atlante dei luoghi infestati (Bompiani, 2021). He edited the anthology Humor - 8 compresse salvavita (Bompiani, 2024).
