Enrico Franceschini

Enrico Franceschini was born in Bologna in 1956. A journalist and writer, he has travelled the world for over thirty years as a foreign correspondent for “la Repubblica”, reporting from its offices in New York, Washington, Moscow, Jerusalem and now London, where he has lived since 2003. He is the author of over twenty books (essays, interviews, literary guides and many novels). His last novel is Un'estate a Borgomarina (Rizzoli, 2022). He has translated three volumes of poems by Charles Bukowski for Feltrinelli. In 1993 he received the Premiolino for his report on the attempted coup in Moscow. He hosts the podcast “Bassa marea”.
