Chiara Marchelli
Chiara Marchelli was born in Aosta. She has a degree in Oriental Languages. She has lived in Belgium and Egypt and moved to the USA in 1999. She teaches Italian at New York University. She has written short stories, narrative non-fiction, and novels. Angeli e cani (Marsilio, 2003) won the Premio Rapallo Carige Opera Prima. Le notti blu (Giulio Perrone Editore, 2017) was longlisted for the Premio Strega 2017 and has been published in Germany.
