Pino Imperatore was born in Milan in 1961 but has lived in Campania since childhood. He is the author of several novels, including the bestseller Benvenuti in casa Esposito (which was adapted for theatre by Alessandro Siani and Paolo Caiazzo, and as a film produced by Bartleby), Aglio, olio e assassino (2018), and Con tanto affetto ti ammazzerò (2019). He has worked for Rai 2 as a television writer.
