Massimo Fenati was born in Genoa in 1969. He has lived and worked in London for over twenty years. He is the author of a successful series of books featuring the illustrated penguins Gus & Waldo (published in the UK and translated into many languages), L'insospettabile utilità di un suricato morto, and other illustrated books. He works as an illustrator for TV production companies and designs TV graphics for BBC, Channel 4, ITV and Sky. The animations of his books have won many international prizes. He produced the illustrated version of La Mennulara by Simonetta Agnello Hornby (Feltrinelli Comics).
