Federica De Paolis was born in Rome in 1971. She specialises in writing dialogues for cinema. She has taught screenwriting and creative writing at the Istituto Europeo di Design, and in 2018 she wrote the programme “Grande amore”, which was hosted by Carla Signoris on Rai 3. Her novels have been published by Fazi, Bompiani, Mondadori and DeA Planeta. Le imperfette won the Premio DeA Planeta 2020. In 2022 she published Le distrazioni for HarperCollins, winner of Premio Selezione Bancarella 2023. Her works have been translated into many languages. She writes for “La Stampa”.
