Alessio Torino

Alessio Torino published his first work of fiction, Undici decimi (Pequod), winner of the Bagutta Debut Novel Prize in 2010.
He later published three novels for minimum fax: Tetano (2011, Lo Straniero Prize, Tropea Prize), from which the short film La storia di Stefano, da allora detto Tetano, directed by Chiara Malta, was drawn; Urbino, Nebraska (2013, Subiaco Città del Libro Prize, Speciale Metauro Prize, Alassio Prize finalist); and Tina (2016, published also in Germany by Hoffmann und Campe).
Alessio Torino is the director of the literary festival Urbino e le Città del Libro and he also teaches Latin Literature at the University of Urbino.
