Angela Bubba

Angela Bubba was born in 1989 in Catanzaro. She wrote novels and short stories. Her first novel, La casa (Elliot, 2009), was finalist for the Premio Strega, the Premio Flaiano, the Premio John Fante and the Premio Berto.
With Bompiani she published MaliNati (2012), Via degli Angeli (2016), written together with Giorgio Ghiotti and a preface by Sandra Petrignani, and Preghiera d'acciaio (2017).
Her first non-fiction title, Elsa Morante, madre e fanciullo (Carabba 2016), won the Elsa Morante Critics Award.
Her contributions have appeared on “Nazione Indiana” and “Nuovi Argomenti”. She collaborates with the monthly magazine “O Magazine”. She lives in Rome and is getting her PhD in Italian Studies on Anna Maria Ortese.
