Raffaella Silvestri was born in Milan in 1984. She studied Literature in Milan and Economics in Cambridge. She has lived in Finland and the UK, and has worked in marketing for a major company. She deals with communication and collaborates with a number of magazines, including ELLE Italia for which she writes regular columns on different subjects such as womanhood, relationships, and current affairs. She has published La distanza da Helsinki (Bompiani 2014) and La fragilità delle certezze (Garzanti 2017).
